What was proposed?

This referendum upgraded Vara's on-chain runtime from spec version 1500 to 1501.

Why it mattered

The runtime defines Vara's network-level operating rules. Changing it can alter transaction handling, governance, staking, program execution and other core behavior.

An Aye vote supported dispatching the whitelisted call that would install runtime spec version 1501.

A Nay vote meant…

A Nay vote opposed installing that runtime through this referendum.

What happened or is happening

A runtime spec version is the chain-reported identifier for a runtime build. The 1500→1501 transition independently confirms that this referendum enacted a runtime change; it does not substitute for a line-by-line audit of the runtime code.

The chain successfully dispatched the whitelisted call. Historical runtime queries show spec version 1500 immediately before execution and 1501 at the execution block.

Dispatch a Fellowship-whitelisted call that changed Vara runtime spec version from 1500 to 1501.
