Finality

The point at which a block is considered irreversible under the chain's consensus protocol.

In plain language

Vara finality and Ethereum finality are separate when a governance action sends a cross-chain message.

Why it matters

Success on the source chain does not automatically prove finalized execution on the destination chain.
