Fellowship rank
A member's level within the technical Fellowship collective.
In plain language
promoteMember increases rank one step at a time, so several repeated calls may be used in one batch.
Why it matters
A title claiming promotion to a particular rank should be checked against the actual number of promotion calls and starting state.
